Purpose of the Role
The Inside Sales Representative will play a vital role in driving sales efficiency, maintaining customer satisfaction, and supporting the achievement of sales targets. The primary focus will be on serving Almita’s client base, which consists mainly of installers and end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying customer needs and presenting tailored solutions.
- Serve as the primary contact throughout the project lifecycle, from initial inquiry to final delivery.
- Maintain accurate client data in Almita’s CRM and ensure timely follow-ups on opportunities.
- Review RFQs, prepare quotes, and generate necessary sales documents.
- Process customer orders (stock and made-to-order) and create purchase orders.
- Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Address and resolve sales-related challenges, escalating issues when necessary.
- Monitor inventory levels and provide sales forecasts to support procurement and production planning.
- Track pending sales and integrate forecasting into reports to anticipate revenue and inventory needs.
- Process customer payments, issue receipts, and coordinate with the Finance team as needed.
- Attend trade shows and industry events to generate leads and strengthen brand presence.
- Support internal training initiatives and contribute to marketing efforts.
- Stay informed on competitor strategies to help Almita maintain a competitive edge.
- Collaborate with internal departments to customize estimates based on client needs.
- Maintain records and track revisions based on project scope changes or client feedback.
- Provide prompt customer support via phone and email.
Qualifications & Experience
- 2+ years of previous order desk/inside sales experience preferred (construction/manufacturing industry experience is a plus).
- Experience with helical piles is an asset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project).
- Experience using ERP or CRM systems (familiarity with NetSuite is an asset).

Work Environment
- Hybrid work environment. 1 day a week in our Ponoka office
- Occasional additional travel may be required
